Most of us understand the power of the word, but often fail to use it!
Believing the word is good. Proclaiming it is better - it then lives in the physical world.
I've done this all over the world.
It's vital to learn the word, so we can proclaim it whenever and wherever. A Bible is not always to hand.

Crucifying the world is not just a necessary part of the Christian experience. It is a powerful spiritual weapon. It establishes the victory of the cross in the actual earthly realm - us!
The enemy wants to minimalise the cross, to marginalise it and hide it. But when the crucified lifestyle is lived, the cross is lifted high, and the enemy pushed back.

Teaching and understanding about sacrifice is rare these days. I don't know why. We have grasped the love of Jesus in a way that hasn't been known for centuries, and perhaps that doesn't sit comfortably with "agape."
But sacrifice breaks the power of the enemy. It was the blood of Jesus which won us the victory.
Today, few people know how to release the power of the sacrifice - how to use the blood of Jesus. Perhaps that's why we are so weak. We will study the blood later on this page.
You can see the teaching now - go to THE POWER OF THE BLOOD page of www.visionworld27.org

The battle - strange that we are looking at the same issue in Fighting foe the soul of Ghana.
It is a battle of wills - the will which wants to serve the Lord, and the will which says "I will do it my way."
Nothing has changed over 2000 years. God's people seem unwilling to fight, to pray and to serve. These things look unattractive, and other things look so much more attractive - success, power, wealth.
I often say that the enemy only has one tune to sing, but he might reply "Why change a winning formula!"

I've just been with a lady who said " I like Christmas. No one bothers me. I can just read and pray for days."
She has embraced the loneliness, and finds herself close to the Lord. We have to "embrace" it, accept it, see it as necessary and good. All too often we fight it, reject it, see it as a curse.
Intercessors can never afford to think this way. We follow Jesus - into all places. If we want to find the strength in Gethsemane that he had, we have to embrace the loneliness. Can we?

Being alone - it's a hard thing for all of us. Africa especially finds this difficult.
But the battle is often fought out alone - in hospital, in the home, in a car or trou trou. We have to know how to fight alone.
Why? Because this is how it so often is. If we can't accept this, we will get nowhere.

Intercessors have to be toughened up, just as soldiers have to be toughened up. For us, the best place is Gethsemane. Best? Yes, because that is where we can meet with the Lord, and be changed into his intercessory likeness.
In the end, what else do we want?
The process of being changed will be outlined in the following posts.
Enjoy!
